So excited to finally share more footage from New Zealand’s South Island. It honestly feels like yesterday that I was riding there. I can’t recommend it enough. In this video, I bikepacked nearly 600km from Queenstown to Christchurch, following the Sounds to Sounds route in reverse. It turned into an unforgettable adventure packed with remote gravel roads, alpine views, and endless backcountry riding. Out of roughly 600 km, I only rode a few meters on proper main roads. The rest? Quiet gravel, wild landscapes, and beautiful connections to the Alps 2 Ocean Trail and Omarama Saddle.
