Hi there! After watching this video you must be able to distinguish the different "simple" or "most common" forms in which future time can be expressed in English. As a way to summarise everything: ◻️ PRESENT SIMPLE (with future value) is used to talk about fixed timetables. ◻️ WILL/WON'T + INF is used to talk about (1) predicitons based on a crystal ball, (2) instant decisions, (3) promises or offers. ◻️ BE* (am, is, are) + GOING TO + INF is used to talk about (1) predicitons based on evidences, (2) plans or intentions. ◻️ PRESENT CONTINUOUS is used to talk about fixed plans. As it is explained throughout the video there's a kind of progression between these tenses where "will" is used to talk about things that are not sure at all, "going to" for events a bit more certain and "present continuous" for actions that have a 100% chances to happen. Remember the example of the wedding! Do not forget that it is quite common to find these tenses combined and as you may have noticed, sometimes, more than one is possible. Yet, as always, the best way to get used to this is through practice.
