The Precision Signal Marking Generator Series E-200-C was built from the 1940's to the 1960's and did have slight variations such as a different tube requirement, coverage from six to eight bands etc., but basic same design. The black body style as is shown in the video was an earlier style built in Elmhurst L.I.(Queens) N.Y., as later ones were a bluish gray. This radio test equipment was described in the later Operating Instructions Booklet (Precision Apparatus Division of Dynascan Corporation 1801 W. Belle Plaine Chicago, Illinois 60613) and featured in this video, as a thoroughly modern A.C. instrument, It is highly accurate, reliable and stable source of variable frequency standards for all general radio frequency alignment, adjustment and test problems, including F.M. and T.V. applications. The eight bands are listed: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, H2, H4 and their corresponding Frequencies. The manual goes into great detail of the unit's capabilities and operating instructions.
