I Awoke in MORDOR… 1,000 Years Later in Rivendell | LOTRO

In this episode of Lord of the Rings Online, I begin a brand new journey as a High Elven archer — and the adventure couldn’t start in a more different place. We awaken in the depths of Mordor, surrounded by orcs, goblins, spiders, and constant danger. Every fight feels lethal, and the world itself is hostile. After barely surviving the chaos, we come face to face with a Nazgûl, an encounter that nearly ends our story before it truly begins. Then… everything changes. Over a thousand years pass, and we awaken in Rivendell, in the house of Elrond. He tends to our wounds and tells us what has transpired during our long slumber, before sending us toward Lindon, where the remaining elves prepare to leave Middle-earth behind. When we arrive in Celondim, standing at the edge of departure, we make a choice. Instead of leaving, we decide to stay — to fight for the people still here, to help humans, elves, and all who remain in Middle-earth. This episode was a refreshing change from my hobbit minstrel journey: darker, more dangerous, and steeped in ancient elven lore. A new perspective, a new character, and a new reason to keep fighting.
