Victoria Lisanova and her daughters 13-year-old Margarita and 8-year-old Polina attached balloons to a tree symbolizing their husband and father, Vitaliy Lisanov. “It is symbolic for us to bring these balloons with the girls, because we believe that love lives forever, is not forgotten, does not pass with death, and continues to live,” Victoria said. Lisanov fought for Ukraine since 2015 and was killed in the Donetsk region in 2022. “We want this alley of love to be filled now, today, with our warm hearts, full of love and affection.” Svitlana Ohorodna, who lost her son in the war, said the soldiers must not be forgotten. “We planted this tree, and it has grown as tall as my son in just one year," she said.
