Yes. Staples has an aluminum option and the Martha Stewart line for Staples has discs with a nickel finish. Do Happy Planner accessories work with the ARC system. Yes! Imagine all of the Happy Planner A5 covers that are now available. ughhh :D Which discs are thicker? Happy Planner or Arc System? Guys, the Happy Planner discs feel like toothpicks. They are sooo thin compared to those of the Arc system. I'd say the Arc system's discs seem much more sturdy but the Happy Planner accessories are way cuter! Is the hole punch worth the price? I hope so because I bought it. The Happy Planner has a hole punch too but it has terrible reviews on the Michaels online store while the Staples hole punch has great reviews. Staples also has a great return policy so if you do not like it, you can return it. I haven't had any issues with my arc punch so far. Do you make your own inserts? Yes. Using 38lb A5 Paper I bought on Etsy pre-punched to fit an A5 binder but it still works fine. I also used a laminator and construction paper to make the cover and a page marker.
