Welcome to Camberwick Green 1966 Album on Music for Pleasure Sung and narrated by Brian Cant Music by Freddie Phillips It was part of the 'Watch with Mother' programming on the BBC. Only 13 episodes were made. It ran for three months in 1966 but was repeated often, well into the 1970s. Trumpton and Chigley came next from the same production team. This record is nearly 60 years old. It has been well played = lots of crackles. I've done my best to process the audio to get rid of the crackles and bring Brian Cant's voice up. To be fair, it didn't;t sound very well recorded in the first place. It will sound as good now as it did when you listened to it off your Dansette in the 1960s or 1970s, or through that speaker in your big old TV. Enjoy!
