This fantastic event reunited the show's original creative team, including Elton John (music), Lee Hall (book & lyrics), Stephen Daldry (director) and Peter Darling (choreographer), as well as some of the original cast members. Liam Mower, Leon Cooke and George Maguire were three of the four boys who originated the role of Billy in London, and also in attendance were Haydn Gwynne and Tim Healy, who originated the roles of Mrs. Wilkinson and Dad. We were also delighted to have a number of great sports personalities in the audience including double Olympic gold medallists Dame Kelly Holmes and James Cracknell, World Cup-winning former England rugby player Ben Cohen, England cricketer Steven Davies, wheelchair racer Nikki Emerson, world champion modern pentathlete Mhairi Spence, and members of the British Olympic Ladies Hockey Team.
