originally recorded on 6-21-24 Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with Leotek EV Series LEDs, a WCH mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights. Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with Leotek EV Series LEDs, a Safetran Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights. While waiting on M533, I142 had pulled-up alongside it to my south, so, once I was able to film M533, I grabbed my camera and hopped on into my car to make my way north across Nashville. I decided to head back to the crossing here at Douglas Avenue and wait for it, getting to meet another railfan from North Carolina while I was waiting. However, to my surprise, rather than sending I142 like I thought they would, CSX wound-up lining a southbound train through here instead. As such, I got to see my tenth and final train of the day here: CSX M281 with a pair of ES44AHs for power. After this, I went down to Foster Street (where I documented the new NEG e-bell there for the site) and tried to wait on I142. However, once the sunset, I decided it was too dark to continue to wait and went on back home to Huntsville for the evening. Still a pretty successful day today overall, if I must say! Thankfully, nothing has changed to this crossing since I last recorded it back in 2021. Glad to see the WCH mechanical bell on the far side is still around. http://www.rxrsignals.com/Tennessee/G...
