Hey friends! Welcome back to Day 5 of our Uttarakhand Road Trip Series! Today’s journey was a perfect mix of mountain beauty, peaceful vibes, and spiritual energy — from the magical sunrise of Munsiyari to the divine Patal Bhuvneshwar Cave Temple. Trip Highlights: Morning in Munsiyari Experienced a breathtaking Munsiyari sunrise wrapped in clouds. Calm, quiet morning — no rush, just pure Himalayan peace. Relaxed breakfast before starting our drive. Drive to Khalia Top (Partial Visit) Started around 10:30 am toward Khalia Top (8 km by road + 8 km trek). Couldn’t trek due to time limits, but the views were absolutely worth it! Enjoyed stunning Himalayan panoramas and captured amazing photos. Munsiyari to Patal Bhuvneshwar via NH 109 Took the scenic National Highway 109 route — full of lush valleys and waterfalls. Short break at Birthi Waterfall — one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Uttarakhand. Clicked photos, had lunch, and continued the journey through winding mountain roads. Spiritual Detour – Patal Bhuvneshwar After about 100 km, spotted the board for Patal Bhuvneshwar Temple. As devotees of Lord Shiva (Bholenath), we couldn’t resist visiting this divine cave temple. 🙏 Drove another 30 km, reaching around 7 pm in the evening. Evening in Patal Bhuvneshwar Found a comfortable hotel quickly. Met a friendly group from Gujarat returning from Adi Kailash Yatra. Ended the day with hot tea, pakoras, and mountain breeze. ☕🍵 Excited for tomorrow’s Patal Bhuvneshwar darshan! 📍Route Map: Munsiyari → Birthi Waterfall → Patal Bhuvneshwar (via NH 109) 🎥 What to Expect in This Video: ✅ Hidden gems of Uttarakhand ✅ Scenic waterfalls & mountain views ✅ Peaceful road trip experience ✅ Spiritual visit to Patal Bhuvneshwar Temple ✅ Local vibes, food & stories 💡 Travel Info & Tips: Best time to visit Munsiyari: March to June / September to November Birthi Waterfall distance from Munsiyari: ~35 km Patal Bhuvneshwar distance from Munsiyari: ~130 km (approx. 5–6 hours drive) Road Condition: Smooth but curvy mountain roads — drive carefully!
