ALF Green's Sirish Chandra Introduces EDGE Green Building Certification

Did you know that certified green buildings fetch higher rents and sale prices across India, ranging from 5-30% depending on the city and type of building? Certified green buildings also have a longer lifecycle than "non-green" buildings, and increase the financial growth of the business by improving access to finance, and even incentives such as preferential interest rates. In September 2024, Sintali hosted an event in Hyderabad (India) to introduce EDGE, the global certification system for new and existing buildings that helps companies unlock these benefits. EDGE stands for Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies and is an innovation of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group. Sintali, a UK-headquartered business, is one of IFC's global certification partners for EDGE that is operating across the world and present in India.
