The Didcot Railway Centre in Oxfordshire has welcomed the public back to its 21 acre site, as the easing of lockdown restriction has allowed the centre to open once more. This year sees the Great Western Society, based at the Didcot Railway Centre, celebrate their 60th anniversary of operations, having formed in 1961. 5101 Class - 4144, owned by the GWS, took the reigns of the services for the day, operating on the main demonstration line while a few of the Great Western Society's other locomotives were positioned around the site. This allowed visitors greater ability to photograph the engines, as well as witness a few of them in the daylight.
