Binding in Svelte | Two-Way Data Binding

Two-Way Data Binding in Svelte makes it easy to update the DOM when a user enters data into an input field or toggles the state of a checkbox, for example. In this Svelte tutorial, I start out by showing you how the bind:value directive works in Svelte and allows for 2-Way Data Binding. I then show you how the bind:checked directive works with checkboxes to toggle between two different states. The Svelte framework also gives us some niceties when it comes to binding. If the type of binding matches the variable name, we can use a Svelte shorthand. And, when working with numeric input fields like number inputs and range inputs, Svelte speeds up our workflow by doing type coercion behind the scenes.
