Del’s life long passion to see the world and make friends with it on his own terms shines through as the camera follows him from one incredible encounter to the next. And this is no small achievement when we consider he grew up with dyslexia on the hard streets of Glasgow and saved every penny he had to fund his dreams of travelling. The two met through the music scene in Glasgow when Del was looking for the right film maker to help document his dream of traveling his way across the world. Tommy has proved himself as one of the leading young film makers in Scotland and A Weegie Abroad is testament to this. He not only directs Del but manages to capture each scene with an exceptional eye for the stunning beauty of scenery and people alike.
