Quilting & Life Updates - Tula Quilted Jacket & Lori Holt projects #tulapink #loriholt Hi everyone, I’ve taken most of the month of June off … my mother was hospitalized in early June, but she is back home and doing much better. Praise God 🙌 🙏. I’ve started sewing again and here’s what I’ve been up to ... I haven’t finished a quilt but I’ve been busy: 1. Tula Quilt Jacket … the class is over but I still need to complete the bias binding to finish off the quilt jacket & I’ve decided not to add the collar. I’ve ordered Tula fabric for a colorful binding. One of my classmates had a contrasting binding & I loved it . 2. Lori Holt Houses - I’ve completed another house block and decided to keep the grass, but I’m not sure where this quilt top is headed, lol … I feel like I need to make a Red &/or Pink house or make it into a table or bed runner … I’m just not that excited about the blocks right now, but I don’t want another UFO. 3. Millie’s Dress - on the other hand, is super fun to piece this block and I love how this quilt is coming together … let’s review my completed blocks … I’m hoping to be done piecing the blocks by next week, then I can work on fun border. 4. Made 2 more bags - definite plans to make more bags … it helps prevent me from starting another project: 1. Project bag made with Vinyl, which holds my Lori Holt blocks 2.
