Advanced prenatal imaging tests can confirm a teratoma diagnosis and help determine the best treatment for babies with fetal tumors. http://fetalsurgery.chop.edu Mothers carrying a fetus with a fetal tumor, or teratoma, will undergo a thorough, one-day evaluation at the Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. A detailed fetal ultrasound, an ultra-fast fetal MRI and a fetal echocardiogram will help to confirm the diagnosis of teratoma.
