After a couple failed attempts and postponements, my ninja Rich finally was able to join me on a camping trip! Weather wasn’t ideal, rainy, windy, cold, but we reserved our spot, packed up our kayaks and camping gear, and made it happen. Our destination… Dutton Island, also known as “Nothin at Dutton” lol! The plan was to catch something to cook for a Jamaican dinner. I brought ingredients to make jerk fish, along with yellow rice and sweet plantains. But, just in case we failed to catch a keeper, Rich brought a nice piece of Sirloin cap to make Picanha (Brazilian style steak). Did we make it happen? You gotta watch to find out.
