Hz. Life of Abu Ubeyde bin Jarrah (radiyallahu anh) l Lives of the Companions

Abu Ubeyde bin Jarrah (r.a.), one of the 10 fortunate people who were given the good news of heaven while on earth, was one of the first to embrace Islam. His real name is "Amir" and his nickname is "Ebû Ubeyde". He became famous as "Ebû Ubeyde bin Cerrah" in comparison to his grandfather. His dynasty reaches the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on his seventh day. Hz. The Prophet (pbuh) said, “Every ummah has a trustworthy person. He praised him by saying, "The trustee of this Islamic Ummah is Abu Ubeyde bin Jarrah."[1] As you may remember, another nickname given to our Prophet was "al-Amin". With this hadith, our Prophet gave an attribute of his own to Abu Ubeyde. As a matter of fact, Abu Ubeyde's nickname among Muslims was "Eminu'l-Umme".
