Video Clip from "Celebrate Spring" Say Brother Music Compilation The Indigos (r-l): Toni Range (now Tonia Pinheiro), Paul Wilkins, Joel Smith, Jerome Wilson; The Indigos Band: Lynn Edwards, Guitar; Phil Simone, Bass; Maurice Williams, Drums; Frank Benvenuto, Tenor Sax; Bobby Fortunato, Trumpet; Randy Knisely, Trombone. This clip is from a longer video that was graciously given to me (Tonia) by WGBH-TV Boston in 1999 in response to my request for a copy of a show I had seen. Instead of the show that had a few seconds of our performance, they sent me a VCR video tape compilation of national and local R&B artists that had performed in a musical segment of the Say Brother show. The compilation included: The Chambers Brothers, Ronnie Gill, The Impressions with Curtis Mayfield, Gwen Michaels, Chubby and The Turnpikes, The Lords, Carla Thomas, The Stark Reality, Gladys Knight and The Pips with Eddie Kendricks, Patti and The Bluebelles (LaBelle), The Indigos, David Ruffin, The Original Untouchables, The Del-Fonics, Gladys Knight and The Pips, Sly and The Family Stone. I was floored and delighted that our performance on the Muhammad Ali episode had been included in this compilation with all these luminaries of the day – both locally and nationally known.
