Today I borrow from the last episode, where I introduced you to my D. Kowalski Dark Gene Green model, and complement it with my D. Kowalski Dark Gene Red model. Both are handmade in Texas, point to point wiring and sub $500 tube amps. Both are half watt gain monsters with excellent build quality and represent incredible values, especially for recording. While sharing significant DNA, the red is more of an American flavor, vs. the green, and can probably be thought of in terms of Boogie style amps vs. the Marshall-esque green.
