Valerii Valakhov, who had undergone knee replacement surgery in his own country before and then contracted a resistant infection, decided to amputate his infected leg by his doctors in his own country. Valerii Valakhov was invited to Ankara Bilkent City Hospital through USHAŞ with the help of his relatives. After initial examinations, during the treatment, which was carried out under the guidance of Ankara Bilkent City Hospital Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist Prof. Ahmet Fırat, the disinfecting operation on the infection on Valerii’s leg was completed. Afterwards, the infection in his leg was completely cleared with antibiotic treatments, the danger of amputation ended, and he regained his former health.
