In Part 3, the complete story of Bletchley Park (the HQ for the Government’s Code and Cypher School) and its awesome characters is discussed in detail. Bletchley was so much more than Enigma and was involved in breaking Japanese and Italian codes as well. The German’s had also developed the Lorenz SZ40 (plus the SZ42a and SZ42b models) cipher machine which was much more complex than Enigma. This machine was used to send critical messages from Germany’s top military brass to its field commanders. Men like Bill Tutte, who broke the codes and Tommy Flowers, an engineer who helped build the world’s first programmable computer known as Colossus are highlighted as well as a number of other key figures.
