Today on Booze On The Rocks I show you the steps to make a Strawberry Sour. This is an interesting cocktail. It was created by David Hawksworth at the Hawsworth restaurant in Victoria, British Columbia. After trying it out, I decided to adjust the ratios to see how it would turn out. Add all cocktails to the shaker tin. 2. Shake without ice for 5-10 seconds. 3. Shake with ice for 10-15 Seconds. 4. fine Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. STRAWBERRY SOUR (David's Version) 1 oz/30 ml Amontillado Sherry .5 oz/15 ml Cynar .75 oz/7.5 ml Strawberry Syrup ** .75 oz/45 ml Lemon Juice 1 Egg White Method 1. Add all cocktails to the shaker tin. 2. Shake without ice for 5-10 seconds. 3. Shake with ice for 10-15 Seconds. 4. fine Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. ** Strawberry Syrup 4 oz/120 ml Chopped strawberry 4 oz/120 ml Sugar 4 oz/120 ml Water Method 1. Add all ingredients to a saucepan. 2. Heat until sugar goes clear. 3. Let simmer for 5 minutes. 4. Strain into a bottle and store in the fridge.
