A crash restraint system for hang gliders flying in the prone hang gliding position to prevent injury and death that often results from our most common accident, that being the sudden and rapid deceleration of the hang glider due to contact with the ground or some other object that sets in motion a deadly sequence of events. The pilot swings foreword and upward in a pendular arc as the nose of the glider swing downward, resulting in a serious impact between the pilots head and the glider. From my experience this is our most deadly yet common accident hang gliding in the prone position. thanks, Sunny Jim
