Taking a picture of the Omega Nebula | M17 (Summer Sessions #2)

Hey all! Finally finished this one off. Super proud of this picture and I'd say its my best work. This video took the longest to make out of any video done before and I'm happy with its turn out :) I'm aiming for more of an informative style recently with a full showcase of the processing of the object rather than just skipping over it. Let me know what you think... This summer is going quickly and I'm not sure that I'll be able to photograph all of the targets that I wish to but I'm gonna do as many as I can. I've made a start on the eagle nebula and I've just finished off the Pegasus Cluster (video coming soon) but with the time that they're setting below the horizon, it's looking like I'll have to choose between the Trifid Nebula OR the Lagoon Nebula. Most likely going with the trifid nebula as I don't have a coma corrector yet, and the lagoon is looking like it is going to take up all of my field of view. Loving these longer videos and I hope you are too, its nice to be showing the complete process rather than a couple nice sunset videos and then a final image.
