Pipe-layer cranes have a low centre of gravity for stability, the challenging terrain they work in puts them at risk of toppling. Hence, crane stability and load and crane safety need to be monitored with great diligence. Monitoring factors like Lifted load, Radius, Safe working load, Boom length, Boom angle and Duty for different combinations are also very critical for the safe operations of the pipe-layer crane. Klug Avalon's SLI application for pipe-layer cranes is designed for high safety. We offer an alternative to the Load Clamp i.e. Load Pin for measuring the load which increases the accuracy of the SLI. We also offer Cut - off solution for hydraulic and mechanical pipe layers.
