This is a Wayne Dalton Torque Master to Torsion Spring Conversion. The Spring inside the torque master tube broke in half. Its hard to tell sometimes if the torque master spring is broken in this system because its a internal spring but the tell tale sign is when your motor is struggling to lift the door or cannot lift the door at all. The way to check is to put the door in manual mode by disengaging the motor with the pull string at the trolley. (DO THIS WITH THE DOOR IN THE DOWN POSITION if the door is up with no spring tension it will come down hard. In this video we convert the Wayne Dalton system to the standard Torsion spring setup.
