Men with guns, faces hidden behind masks of steel and silence. The pulse of the city slows. A single gun cocks — the echo rings. Blue Orb’s light flickers. He swerves off the main road, heart pounding, and dives into an abandoned building — cracked concrete, shattered glass, echoes of old lives. He thinks he’s safe… until curiosity betrays him. He peers through a broken window — and a shot pierces the stillness. His glow dims. He collapses, the bike’s distant hum fading into silence. Morning rises over a bruised skyline. Enter Red Orb, his hue burning like sunrise against the gray. He searches through the debris, calling out softly, the city eerily quiet now. Then he finds him — Blue Orb, lying still beneath the dust and shadows. The red light flickers with grief. No words, no screams — just the sound of distant traffic and the weight of loss. Red Orb turns away, moving slowly down the cracked street — maybe toward help, maybe toward nowhere. The rain begins again, whispering against the pavement.
