Steel is officially on the menu. 🔥 Crucible bought, Tier 6 pistol crafted, motorcycle ready — and Day 28 Horde is coming fast. Episode 18 starts strong with the Chemistry Station finally placed, and from there the grind escalates fast. An extensive mining session begins: Nitrate Lead Coal Clay soil Iron Even gold, silver, and diamond ores After selling off excess materials to Trader Rekt, I walked away with 19,000 Dukes. That’s when I spotted it. The Crucible. 9K Dukes later… steel production was unlocked. And once steel enters the game, everything changes. Back at base: ⚙️ Steel production begins 🔫 Tier 6 pistol crafted 🏍️ Motorcycle built 🐝 Apiary system started after a lucky beeswax drop Progression hit hard this episode. But there’s no time to celebrate. Day 28 Horde Night is approaching. Desert armor comes off. Hellreaver armor goes back on. The old base gets reinforced. The horde arrives. And once again, the sledgehammer proves why it’s the best weapon in the game (in my opinion). Plenty of loot bags collected, another successful defense, and now it’s back to the Desert Biome to continue the Trader Bob mission arc.
