I believed, as many did, that its power would be enough. It had been enough before. I was wrong. The lossalskyre’s fury was older than crowns, older than spells, and when he came, the earth itself recoiled at his passing. I watched as the unthinkable was made real. Stone yielded. Light faltered. And that which should never have fallen was brought low. I mourn the loss of what was beautiful— The envy of continents, The last great bastion of mankind’s hope, Blessed by the Pontificatum Himself.
