Who Is Santa Fe?, Episode 1, features Mark Rodriguez. Eli Bransford ‪@elibransford‬ sits down with Mark Rodriguez. Mark is a stone mason and double lung transplant survivor, TWO times over and that makes him a world record holder. His life is a story of severe challenges, ups and downs. Growing up and currently living in Santa Fe NM, Mark had a short career as an actor and model. He also become a talented stone mason, then had severe health challenges requiring a lung transplant, and later life, a second one. Mark has stared death in the face several times but in the process, he fell from his faith in God, becoming a broken man, selling and using drugs, then finding his faith again and re-claiming a healthy and prosperous life. Mark is now a staunch supporter of organ donation and has become close to the parents of his own organ donor that saved his life (Michelle) who tragically passed away through domestic violence while her child survived. Mark's story is full of nuance and one we can all learn and benefit from as an example of never giving up. Eli, JD and Mark hope you will enjoy this interview, but it is a bit long (approx. 2.5 hrs).
