I finally got my Playdate, must be 2 years since I ordered it. My initial impressions weren't hugely glowing if I'm being honest, but the more time I've spent with it, trying some of the itch.io games and a couple of the season 1 official games, I've begun to really like it. I do think it's a little uncomfortable, I think because it's too small for its own good, but equally, it's so, so small, it really does fit in your pocket, and the properly long battery life means it isn't going to have drained when you get to play
