Windows of the World - University of York Brass Band

The University of York Brass Band perform Windows of the World (Peter Graham) at UniBrass 2019. The band came 2nd in the UniBrass Shield and won the Best Percussion prize. Conductor: Brandon Fletcher Soloists: Tom Durrant (Horn), Owen Russel (Baritone), Tasmin Timbrell (Flugelhorn), James Butchart (Euphonium), Hazel Matthews (Trumpet), Kartherine Bradshaw (Trombone), Emma Stafford (Drums) The University of York Brass Band are a non-auditioning, student run brass band open to any brass and percussion players of any ability from a range of courses. The band regularly performs in concerts and parades, enjoying a full calendar each year. UYBB like to attempt difficult repertoire and improve our playing standard, while also being one of the university's most social societies. UniBrass 2019 was hosted by Bangor University Brass Band. In 2020, the contest will be returning to Bangor University and will be celebrating its 10th anniversary. Produced by BrassPass and edited by UniBrass Organising Committee 2019/20.
