Jiangyou City, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, is located in the northern part of the Sichuan Basin and the northern end of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone. It has a humid subtropical monsoon climate, characterized by hot summers and mild winters. Jiangyou City boasts a long history and rich cultural heritage. The Ming Dynasty text Shuzhong Mingsheng Ji records that "Jiangyou means 'where the river flows'." As one of the earliest areas of human activity in China, the Dashuidong site yielded Neolithic stone tools and pottery shards dating back approximately 5,000 years. Jiangyou City is the birthplace of the poet Li Bai. It has 32 existing sites and relics, including Longxi Temple, Taibai Temple, and Mozhenxi. Deng Xiaoping personally inscribed "Hometown of Li Bai" for Jiangyou, earning it the reputation of "Hometown of Chinese Poetry." It is also the birthplace of Nezha culture, with existing sites and relics such as Cuiping Mountain, Qianyuan Mountain, Jinguang Cave, and Chentang Pass, considered the ancestral home of Nezha. Gunpowder culture has a long history, and the Laojun Mountain Saltpeter Cave Site is the largest ancient saltpeter cave site discovered in China, earning it the title of "Hometown of Gunpowder in China." Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area is located in Jiuzhaigou County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, northern Sichuan Province, China. It is named after nine Tibetan villages within the valley: Shuzheng, Heyue, Zechawa, Panxin, Heiguo, Panyazhu, Guwa, Pengbu, and Jianpan. In 1992, Jiuzhaigou was listed as a World Natural Heritage Site. Jiuzhaigou is situated on the northern slope of the Garna Mountains in the southeastern part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, at an altitude of 2000 to 3106 meters, and is a typical high-altitude karst landscape. The scenic area covers approximately 620 square kilometers, of which about 52% is virgin forest, interspersed with arrow bamboo and various exotic flowers and plants. It is home to many wild animals, such as giant pandas, golden monkeys, and white-lipped deer. In winter, all water bodies in Jiuzhaigou, except for Wuhua Lake, freeze over. Due to the influence of springs at the bottom of the lake, the water temperature of Wuhua Lake remains around 6 degrees Celsius year-round. Jiuzhaigou is mainly divided into four scenic areas: Shuzheng Scenic Area, Rize Scenic Area, Changhai Scenic Area, and Baojingya Scenic Area. It is world-renowned for its emerald green lakes, cascading waterfalls, colorful forests, snow-capped mountains, and rich Tibetan culture, and is hailed as a "dreamland" and a "fairytale world."
