Niether of us had ever Ziplined before and it certainly wasn't something that we ever thought of adding to a Canada Summer Vacation itinerary before!! We are so glad that we did! Epic views and another moody, Newfoundland day were in store for us. Before we get zip-lining, we do a cool hike in Blow Me Down Provincial Park. (You just have to love the names of places in Newfoundland!! ) We find a hidden staircase and some nice viewpoints from the trail. We spend another night boondocking on a quiet harbour across from the park. We ate homemade pizza (made in the van!!) on the beach and had a great sleep! We also get off the beaten path and end up on Pilley's Island at an Inn & Brewery that allows their customers to Boondock for the night. The town is charming, the brews AND their food is amazing, and the hospitality is second to none. We leave early the next morning and get on a quick ferry to visit the stunning and unique Fogo Island. Fogo Island is stunning, with landscapes, wildlife, art and architecture that keeps you wantng to explore this island. Newfoundland just keeps exceeding our expectations around every big bend and over every mountain crest. This province is stunningly beautiful, with rich history, friendly, salt of the earth people and an energy that you cannot explain unless you have been here. We are so excited to be bringing you this series of videos from Newfoundland because it truly is one of our favourite "vacations" to date. Hope you enjoy!
