LIMUR YMS is a mobile application installed on digital signage touch screen kiosk with scanner and printer. The application helps to digitalize timing and duration of all warehouse/ DC operations. The drivers register their arrival using their delivery/task ID. They are handed a ticket with QR code. After being called out by security, they enter the premises. The code is scanned at the entry, at the beginning and termination of unloading and loading and at the exit. The system generates automated reports summarizing SLA of transport services provided by logistic operators. Every delay is registered and it is easy to determine the root cause of the delay (driver being late for his notification window, late reception of the truck by the logistic operator, warehouse operations delays). As a result of implementation of LIMUR YMS, the overall operations efficiency increases and customers report significant reductions of delays of deliveries. The solution is often complemented with automated entry and exit barriers, license plate recognition cameras and mobile applications for automated notification management.
