Garden work & a new woodland project (his idea...) l Country life vlog

Welcome back! Well, what started as a quick bit of winter garden tidying quickly turned into a much bigger woodland project…! In this countryside vlog, I’m working in our garden and woodland, quickly realising that a “simple job” is rarely simple! I knew that my husband was hatching a plan to set up an area to grow oyster mushrooms, but let’s just say I didn’t quite know how ambitious it was until he revealed just how much mushroom spawn is arriving in 3 days' time 😅 As we try to urgently prepare to become mushroom farmers, there are plenty of obstacles along the way (cue dramatic trolley crash), and it seemed like we spent more time solving problems than making progress! Needless to say, this isn't a tutorial or a step-by-step guide... just a realistic glimpse of countryside life, life on the land, and two novices with some of the gear and no idea having a go at something new! We had fun anyway, and if you enjoy slow living, countryside life and being outdoors then I hope you enjoy watching.
