Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the T-strap hinge for side and rear trailer doors. Now this strap hinge lets your side or rear trailer door swing open 180 degrees. The long strap provides more contact area with the door for excellent support. Which helps keep the door in position, and prevents sagging and dragging. It features a non-removable half inch diameter pin that provides great security. And it's a heavy duty design, featuring an embossed strap and seam welded bracket and leaf for extra strength. Durable steel construction with a zinc plated finish, does a great job at resisting rust and corrosion. Mounting hardware not included.A few measurements I want to go over with you real quick. I took a measurement of the strap length, and I measured from the center of the pin, to the end of the strap. Doing that gives a measurement right at 12 inches.It measures 2 inches wide.The bracket, measuring in this direction, front to back, is about 1-5/8 inches long by 4-1/2 inches.The mount holes on the bracket are separate apart from one another on center by 3-1/4 inches.The strap has three mount holes on it, each one is separated on center by 4-7/16 inches. And from the center of this one to the center of this one is 8-7/8 inches.These holes right here have a diameter of 5/16 of an inch. These holes have a diameter of 3/8 of and inch.That's going to do it for today's look at the T-strap hinge for side and rear trailer doors.
