The flight simulation itself is created using Microsoft Flight Simulator, with the cabin environments comprising a combination of annotated Microsoft Flight Simulator cabins and custom-built designs. Sounds are a combination of real aircraft / cabin sounds and custom-made white / brown noise. Any voices included are either spoken by the channel owner or generated using Voicemaker. The use of the animations, maps, and other elements is believed to fall under the Fair Use provisions of Section 107 of the U.S. Copyright Act (Title 17 U.S.C. § 107) because a) the materials are used for a transformative purpose to create a unique in-flight ambience; b) only small portions of the original works are used; and c) the use does not compete with or harm the market value of the original works.
