The St. Regis Bangkok - Full Review

The St. Regis Bangkok is a hotel with plenty of elegance and style. I found the service to be very good and the rooms are generously proportioned. You also have a useful butler service who can help with some tedious tasks like unpacking and packing your suitcase or something simple like making a tea/coffee. I had informed the hotel that I am vegan and what I would like to eat for breakfast and this was 90% amazing. Where they lose the 10% is the evening canapes as the chef kept making the same dish every night which gave me the impression he/she didn't have alternative ideas (hard to believe for a chef in such a prestigious hotel) or the more likely felt that this is too much hassle! Another nice touch are the bar snacks offered with drinks ordered at the St. Regis bar and there is a daily champagne ceremony at around 6pm where you also get a free glass of bubbly. Platinum and Titanium members also get 2 free cocktails at the bar each day! The bar also plays live music from Wednesday to Saturday or Sunday (I can't quite remember) and this adds a nice ambience to the feeling and vibe of the bar. The pool is great as it is long enough to do some lengths and the gym is well equipped. The location is great for shopping and eating out as well as getting around as the there is a BTS sky bridge attached to the hotel! Overall - if you don't have any dietary requirements you will really enjoy this hotel. But sadly for me, the disappointing canapes are enough to avoid this hotel in the future. #bangkok #hotel #thailand #thailandhotels #travel #streghe
