We had actually recorded the basic tracks a few years ago, thinking of using it for some other production. But we did not use it then. The time did not seem to be right. Then came this challenging year 2020... when the world was confronted with the coronavirus, forcing us to remain at home as much as possible in an effort to prevent the spread of the virus. And it seemed like the perfect time to sing this song of hope and reassurance, from our homes, to each other and with each other. Spontaneously we invited people to sing along and in a short time we had 300 participating, sending their voices in, singing “I'm so glad that Jesus lives in my house". Thank you for all your stories about this song, what it has meant to you over the years, how it has accompanied, encouraged and comforted you. That means a lot to me. Thank you for enthusiastically sending your voices in! Thanks for your courage in doing so. And thank you for making this special version of the song with me which will surely mark a time when the world had to stop for a while and consider... Ha – and unbelievable but true: This song never had an official video. Well – this is it: 20 years later and right on time!
