Impermanent loss is something that exists in DEX and AMM. Bancor V2.1 resolves this by providing insurance. Here are 2 scenarios where the insurance is used. In this video, we take a look at the 2 scenarios when a liquidity provider withdraws Scenario 1 : $LISA in the pool is more than or equal to the amount of $LISA initially put in 1) I get $LISA from the pool which is 50% of the entire pool because I own 50% of the pool 2) When transactions happen the fees are either paid in $BNT or in $LISA depending on what you are trading. 3) When people are trading $BNT in the pool itself then my capital investment will generate some $BNT because of the transaction fees but the $BNT is burnt because I'm not entitled to these $BNT Scenario 2 : $LISA in the pool is less than the $LISA initially added 1) The system checks the amount of $LISA required to give to the liquidity providers 2) The system checks the pool ownership Want more in-depth content?
