Our first leg took us from Igoumenitsa, Greece, to Brindisi, Italy, on a 10-hour ferry ride. Once in Italy, we paused to enjoy the holiday season with family, indulging in delicious food and welcoming 2025 with fresh hopes and excitement. With our hearts full and ready for the next chapter, we booked the longest ferry ride of our lives: a 20-hour voyage from Civitavecchia to Barcelona, crossing the Mediterranean Sea. But the adventure didn’t stop there. From Barcelona, the real challenge began: a 1,000-kilometer drive to the stunning region of Galicia. It was a journey of a lifetime, one we would repeat in a heartbeat. Traveling by sea and having the freedom to drive at our own pace made the experience unforgettable. Now, our adventure continues in Galicia – a wild, green, and untamed corner of Spain that feels like pure magic.
