Rebel forces advanced in Syria on Sunday, capturing the airport and military academy in Aleppo. They also attacked the outskirts of Hama, say rebel officials & Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. President Assad’s government troops are trying to repel rebels, sending reinforcements and airstrikes on Aleppo. The rebels captured much of Aleppo in a surprise offensive a day earlier (Saturday).
