In this video, we look at the production capabilities of my mushroom fruiting rooms here at the farm, plus we also go into how many square meters you need to meet specific mushroom production requirements. Mushroom Fruiting rooms are most probably the most important part of a small mushroom growing facility or farm. Being able to grow a set amount of mushrooms each week to meet customer requirements is imperative. To meet these demands you will need to calculate exactly how much space you need. We estimate the baseline of mushroom production per square meter is around 6.5kg/m² moving up past 10kg/m² for a more intensive room. A lot of this is strain-dependent, and some strains will yield more or less.
