I love Eastern Christianity... but Western Christians shared the gospel with me, connected me to God in the first place, and helped save my family from meth addiction, and homelessness. While originally becoming convinced through online apologetics on church history, Christian mysticism, the liturgical and sacramental life to become Orthodox. After joining for a couple years I realized 2 major flaws in orthodoxy. That I believe discredit it from being the true church. Especially when contrasted with its high level of rigorism and exclusivity. For Orthodox wanting to learn about its blind spots and improve. Or Orthodox and Catholic inquirers learning to get an honest inside look into Orthodoxy and Catholicism. This video will be worth watching. Many protestants starting from a place of (never-catholic) after watching are likely going to give Catholicism a fair shake. Orthodoxy basically was able to appear out of nowhere and went unchallenged for awhile. But now reversion video like this one are starting to appear exposing major flaws in Orthodoxy. Testimony's like this were not available 2 years ago. And now people are going to have a better idea of what orthodoxy is really like. While many orthodox churches are 10/10. And in every church there are 10/10's authentic people in every parish. Much of online content is unfortunately false advertising. After becoming aware of these problems, I began to continue inquiring. I really explored Catholicism, and realized how great it really is. I'm blessed to be Catholic, and grateful to God to continue in the faith where I belong on the path to holiness. With a more balance worldview and love for East and Western Faith.
