We always have our Coleman canopy with us when we camp, and it comes in handy especially when we’re camping in the snow or rain to allow us to enjoy the fire while staying dry. We do find, however, that smoke tends to accumulate at the top of the canopy, even with the vents open. We decided to try and modify our canopy so that we can put our fire directly under the canopy when we’re camping in the snow and rain, but also be able to put the top back on when we need the canopy for shade in the summer.
