After a successful no death solo Hero run on Easy, I decide to try normal mode. I complete the entire game companionless starting at the beginning of the game on floor zero and proceeding all the way to the end without using a life. I visited each floor and boss along the way, refraining from utilizing any of the secret doors that allow you to skip floors. I made it a point to uncover as many of the hidden treasures as possible during the journey up the tower. I managed to max out my health at the beginning of floor 36. This was completed on the original super Nintendo hardware using the game cartridge. After defeating Drakmar, I choose to destroy the black orb netting the good ending.
