Norfolk Classic Bus & Coach Show and Roadrun from Thursford Steam Museum

Thursford Steam Museum was the location for a brand new Classic Bus & Coach Rally for the East of England. This was a superb location to display a varied selection of buses and coaches with excellent photographic opportunities. A few of the later buses and coaches can be seen arriving and many of the buses can be seen on display in Thursford Car Park. There is a look inside the engine of MRL 865 and inside the shopping area of Thursford itself. In the afternoon a sixteen mile roadrun took place along the A148 through Fakenham and the buses can be seen departing and arriving back at the Museum. Late in the day there was also a presentation ceremony for the best buses and coaches at the show. Most important of all was the weather stayed sunny and very much like Summer and hopefully the event was a great success. Thanks to the organisers for their hard work in putting this event on and to all the bus owners for bringing their buses along.
