Across the country there is a knife crime on average every 11 minutes. Film-maker Aodh Breathnach was stabbed five times on a night out. Despite noticing an impact on his mental health, he hardly spoke about it afterwards. Still carrying hurt, anger and fear eight years later, Aodh sets out to meet other people who have been stabbed and learn how they are coping with their physical and emotional scars. Details of organisations in the UK offering information and support for victims of knife crimes are available at: bbc.co.uk/actionline Scars: Surviving a Stabbing is available on iPlayer https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode... --- Watch BBC Three on TV and BBC iPlayer.
